1. Information We Collect

CineVault does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our own servers. All data you create — favorites, planner entries, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device and never leaves it.

2. Third-Party Services

CineVault integrates the following third-party services that may collect data independently:

• TMDB (The Movie Database): Used to fetch movie and TV show data, images, and metadata. Requests are sent to TMDB's servers when you browse content. See their privacy policy at themoviedb.org.
• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements within the app. Google may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Advertising

CineVault displays ads provided by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). You can limit ad tracking at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.

4. Local Storage

Your favorites and planner items are saved locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data.

5. Children's Privacy

CineVault does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no registration, login, or data submission features. Parental guidance is advised regarding ad content.

6. App Tracking Transparency

In compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, CineVault will request permission before tracking your device for advertising purposes. You may deny this permission and ads will still be shown on a non-personalized basis.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
